The largest music festival in Ukraine is back / AP

2024

The largest music festival in the country is back for the first time since the onset of the big war. Atlas United 2024.

Like everything else, the festival has changed too. Among the visitors, there are many people in military uniforms, musicians who have taken a day off from their service to perform their fans' favorite songs, 'FREE AZOV' posters in the crowd, generals from the top military command and unit commanders who came to support their comrades, FPV simulators, shooting with AK-47s at virtual targets, recruitment centers for various units, first aid training, an underground parking lot that can accommodate 25,000 spectators, and a fundraising goal of 2 million euros. None of this would have been seen at the festival 2.5 years ago, but it all seems so familiar now.
