The fighters of 1st battalion of the 40th Coastal Defense Brigade are among those holding back the enemy, who still hopes to break through to the right bank of the Dnipro in the Kherson region. The guys use the BMP-1 and its modernized cannon to deliver a fire strike on enemy positions located on the islands and the left bank of the Dnipro. They operate at night, using night vision devices. The operation takes a minute and a half before the Russians begin to return fire.

Crossing the Dnipro River may seem like an unrealistic task for the invaders, but unfortunately, the enemy has proven adept at forcing water obstacles and establishing bridgeheads in the Kupiansk area and several other locations further down the front. If the enemy manages to cross the river and secure a foothold in the Kherson region, it would be the first bridgehead on the entire right-bank Ukraine.
